BARKING BAIL OUT

2009 ECONOMIC STIMULUS PACKAGE

Our “Barking Bail Out” is designed to help you continue providing your pup with all the love and care they’re accustomed to, while maximizing your savings in the process. The following are just a few of the recovery plans we’re launching.

Recovery Plan: Training

• Mini-Courses – Need to focus on just one specific behavior or maybe your pup just needs some refresher work. Check out our new mini-courses which address everything from sit, come, jumping, stay, off-leash commands, etc… These new mini-courses run for three weeks and have a cost of $100.00. Different courses are offered throughout the year so make sure to check the class schedule for specific offerings.

• Daytime Classes – Work demands are changing and, as a result, so are our customers schedules. Therefore, we are very happy to introduce daytime obedience classes. Make sure to check the class schedule for specific offerings.

Recovery Plan: Daycare

• Unlimited Daycare - Our current economic situation has many people working increasingly long hours including weekends. So, we’re introducing our new unlimited daycare package for $350 (a savings of $130 from our standard rate). This package is good for unlimited daycare for one dog for one calendar month from the date of purchase.

• ½ Day Daycare – Many of our customers have requested we offer a ½ day daycare service and we are happy to introduce it. The rate is $12 and is good for up to 5 hours Monday through Saturday.

• Customer Loyalty Card – Designed for our customers who use daycare as necessary but not frequently enough to buy packages. For every 12 daycare sessions purchased at the regular price, we’ll  give you the 13th for free!

Recovery Plan: Boarding

• Frequent Traveler Program – First quarter 2009 have you doing a lot of travel to build your business? We understand and so we are happy to introduce our new Frequent Traveler Program for $384.00 (a savings of $64.00 or two free nights). The new program is good for 14 nights boarding and includes our normal daycare service. The blocks expire after 90 days, are good for a total of 14 nights and do not have to occur in sequence. The program must be purchased for each dog in a household.

• Sunday Pick-up – It is not fair to force our customers to pay for an additional night of boarding because we don’t open on Sundays. After all, we have to be here to care for the dogs! So, we are pleased to remind all customers that Bed & Bark is open on Sundays from 4:00 – 6:00 PM for boarding pick-up and drop-off only. 

Recovery Plan: Comprehensive Packages 

• Loyalty Rewards Program - For 10 years we have built our business on testimonials and referrals. The continued growth and success of K-9 Coach and Bed & Bark hinges on your loyalty, these testimonials and word-of-mouth referrals and, for that, we’d like to thank you!  If you refer someone to us, please tell them to let us know and, if they sign up for any of our services, you will receive a 5% discount off your next purchase. Also, if you have a testimonial you would like to share, please provide it to us or you can post it on referral networks like kudzu.com and angieslist.com.

• Premiere Puppy Program – The New Year often brings new puppies to K-9 Coach and Bed & Bark and a new puppy means lots of socialization and training for everyone! So, we designed our new puppy program to build the best possible foundation for you and your pup. The cost for this exciting new program is $450 (savings of $105 if purchased individually) and includes:

  • Two Puppy Socialization Sessions (1 hour ea.)- Designed to provide an obedience foundation through positive methods. This important socialization provides an excellent obedience foundation for your new pup and helps to prevent behavior issues including aggression and fear related problems.

  • Puppy Daycare Socialization (5 total) – Designed to reinforce positive behaviors through play and socialization. We’ll pair your pup with appropriate play groups.

  • Family Dog 101 Group Class - Designed to introduce beginning obedience including basic commands such as off, sit, down, stay and come. The class will also addresses basic behavioral issues such as housebreaking, jumping, chewing, mouthing, barking, etc...

  • 2 Private Lessons at Your Home (1 hour ea.) – Our one-on-one instruction allows us to address your specific needs and issues as they relate to your pup and his or her new home. These private sessions will cover puppy related behaviors in the home, basic obedience, issues around children, etc… and will reinforce the overall socialization and obedience program.

• Puppy Partnership – Local animal shelters are constantly rescuing and rehabilitating puppies. The ultimate goal, of course, is to give these loving pups permanent homes where they can love and be loved. Unfortunately, difficult economic times seem to result in even more animals making their way into shelters and create an even greater strain on shelter finances. With that, K-9 Coach and Bed and Bark have partnered with local shelter organizations (please check our website for specific information) to provided much needed puppy socialization and obedience training. These services will help to make pups more adoptable, less likely to be returned and better adjusted as a whole. All you have to do is let us know that you want to sponsor a pup and we’ll handle the rest. Sponsorship levels are:

  • Positive Pup – $50 – Includes two puppy socialization sessions and trainer evaluation session.

  • Preferred Pup - $200 – Includes two puppy socialization sessions, Family Dog 101 and discounted private lessons for adoptive parents.

  • Premiere Pup - $350 – Includes two puppy socialization sessions, Family Dog 101 and two private lessons with adoptive parents.
